March’s Finest: If Life Imitates Art, Call Us the Main Characters

Last month, we roamed the city, chasing the best art in the wild—stumbling into spaces that made us stop, stare, and feel. From hidden gems to bold statements, these are the expositions that left a mark. Trust me, you’ll want to see this 👀💫

Loves, we’ve been on the move. This month, the branding team and I hit the streets of Paris, chasing the best spots to recommend to you. Between shooting content, discovering hidden gems, and following some of the team's top picks, we found ourselves in spaces that truly left a mark. From exhibitions that made us rethink everything to places so good they felt like secrets, we saw it all. But now, it’s time to share the best of the best.

Here are my absolute favorite finds from February.

Despertares by Guim Tió ⭐

Despertares is Guim Tió’s love letter to rest—the kind of rest that feels like a reward. The Spanish artist beautifully captures those fleeting yet essential moments: the warmth of a comfy bed, the weightlessness of falling asleep on the grass, the surrender of dozing off on a sofa after an exhausting day. His paintings don’t just depict sleep; they celebrate it, reminding us how precious it is to pause. When Caro mentioned this expo in our socials, we knew we had to go—especially since, as a fellow Spaniard, she clearly had an insider’s instinct for a must-see show. And she was absolutely right. If you haven’t seen it yet don't miss the opportunity this weekend !! Despertares is only open until March 2nd!

Pochette Surprise 🎁🌂

Then, right around the corner, we stumbled upon Pochette Surprise at Galerie Sabine Bayasli and honestly, it was an incredible encounter. Curated by Marc Molk, the concept was as bold as it was intriguing: artists exhibited their work without knowing who else was part of the show. The result? A brilliantly eclectic mix where every piece felt smart, funny, and full of personality. The variety of techniques on display was just as exciting, making the whole experience even more dynamic. There's something special about seeing an exhibition so well-curated, especially

when the concept itself is this playful and fresh.

Pochette Surprise is only open until March 2nd!

Le Halle Saint Pierre 💐🍄

A week later, Annahé introduced me to one of her favourite spots: Le Halle Saint Pierre, a vibrant cultural hub nestled in the 18th arrondissement. This charming venue houses a gallery, a café, and a bookstore, all brimming with artistic energy.

They are currently hosting an exhibition titled "Afghanistan: Unveiling a Hidden Culture," which runs until July 15th. This exhibition offers a profound insight into Afghanistan's rich cultural heritage, showcasing traditional art forms, contemporary pieces, and historical artefacts that narrate the country's complex history and vibrant traditions. It's a compelling journey through a culture often overshadowed by conflict, revealing the resilience and creativity of its people.

Visiting Le Halle Saint Pierre is not just about viewing art; it's about immersing yourself in a space where creativity, history, and community converge. Whether you're there to explore the exhibition, enjoy a coffee surrounded by art, or delve into a new book, it's a place that invites reflection and inspiration.

Perrotin Paris 🌝🪷

Finally, one of my personal favorites was Perrotin Paris. First, there was Business Pleasure Pressure Release by Nick Doyle, which was all about office culture and kink—yes, you read that right! As strange as it sounds, the concept was genius. The entire exhibition was made of denim, and honestly, the whole place smelled like a hot guy—if that makes sense. It was like stepping into a world that we all kind of get, but presented in such a funny and twisted way. It was unforgettable!

Then, there was Clear History, a curation by Oli Epp that was nothing short of incredible. The whole vibe felt like queerness in the air, each piece so personal and hilarious. It was impeccably curated, and I couldn’t help but laugh throughout the whole experience. If you're looking for something that feels fresh, bold, and full of energy, this one is 100% worth seeing.

Nick Doyle's expo is open until march 8th

And Oli Epp's clear history until march 16th

Thank you so much for reading us today 💫🫶🏻

I hope you loved our art take this month! Drop by one of our spots and share it in your stories—who knows, maybe you'll find your next great love in an art gallery ;)
